Ok, again I know I say this every time a month passes, but I can. not. believe. it! How is it October already? I'm so sad this year is just flying by! I can't believe its already the 10th either! Crazy! Anyway, I made a few changes around the blog. I changed the layout and added a little Halloween flair. I was tired of my "fall" layout already (that didn't take long).
I've been kind of MIA this week. My Grandma Shirley has Alzheimer's and she's in the final stage. We've been with her pretty much night and day since last Tuesday. It's so hard to see her like this. It's amazing the woman is still holding on. She hasn't had anything to eat or drink for a week. Healthy people die after only 3 days without water. It just doesn't make sense. But, I suppose God has a plan even if I don't agree with it, like it, or get it. I hope she can finally go home to him and rest, she has to be exhausted.
Today I'm going to my grandparents for lunch and then we're headed back to the nursing home. On an up side (if there is an up side), I've gotten to spend a lot of time with my family, and they're pretty great too. Thank you to all my wonderful friends for being there and for your prayers and calls. It means a lot to me. You guys are awesome.
